Common claim questions.

Who can claim a listing, what email is accepted, how the magic-link verification works, and what happens after a claim is approved.

Who can claim a listing on ABA Rank?
Anyone with a working email address at the listing's company domain. The claim flow is intended for owners, operators, and authorised employees of the clinic, software, or service vendor on the profile. Claims from unrelated email domains are rejected automatically by the magic-link check.
What email address do I use to claim a listing?
Use a work email at the listing's company domain — for example name@yourpractice.com if your website is yourpractice.com. ABA Rank only accepts magic-link claims from the same domain shown on the public profile. Personal email accounts (gmail, yahoo, outlook.com, and similar) are not accepted.
How does the claim verification work?
After the work email is submitted, ABA Rank emails a one-time magic link to that address. Clicking the link confirms control of the inbox and activates the claim. The link expires after 24 hours and can only be used once. No password is required at any step of the flow.
What if my company is not on ABA Rank yet?
Use the Suggest a vendor page instead of the claim flow. Submissions land in the editorial moderation queue and are reviewed weekly; approved listings typically appear within seven to ten days. Once the listing is live the same email used to suggest it can claim it.
What happens after I claim a listing?
The claimed account can edit the public profile, respond to incoming buyer briefs, dispute factual errors, and request the Verified review. Claimed listings carry a public Claimed indicator on the profile and gain the Claimed component of the Index = C + V + S + R formula. There is no fee to claim a listing.
Can a claimed listing be transferred to a new owner?
Yes. Material changes such as a sale or rebrand are handled by the editorial team. The current claimer or the incoming owner emails hello@abarank.com with proof of the transfer, and the listing is reassigned after a short review. Any Verified badge pauses until the new owner completes re-verification.
